How can I serve you?

Do you struggle with anxiety, depression, social challenges, sorrow, sadness, grief, anger management, emotional regulation difficulties, marital struggles, or difficulties surrounding self injurious behaviour? You may be surprised, but you’re absolutely not alone; in fact, many others struggle with these challenges as well.

I am a registered psychotherapist in Ottawa, ON with experience in providing therapy for a variety of mental health issues including but not limited to the list above. I want to be completely honest, I don’t have all the answers, no one does, and I will never pretend to have them all. What I do have is a multi-faceted approach to counselling and an eagerness to see all clients who walk through my door leave feeling more equipped to face all the hardships that life has thrown and continues to throw their way. Additionally, it’s my aim to assist all clients in the improvement and betterment of their quality of life.

My goal is to show you you’re not alone in your battles, to talk through and offer a wider perspective on issues you’re facing, and to give trusted tools, techniques, and interventions so that you can obtain a sense of relief from life’s challenges. I integrate a variety of tools, skills, and techniques from various modalities such as CBT, SFBT, DBT, and Family Systems Theory to identify a few. 

I have seen how one’s quality of life greatly improves as their self-awareness does and I seek to gently ask you well-thought out questions to aid you in awareness, growth, and healing. I treat everyone as equals and it is my privilege and responsibility to spend much time, effort, and thought into how I can assist all clients to the best of my ability.
